The Brief

Glanville is a multi-disciplinary engineering, surveying & design consultancy. Our brief was to develop a strategy that enabled sustainable growth.

Activity

Working with the Board we conducted a thorough situation analysis, identified short, medium & long term goals, and developed a strategic marketing approach that focuses on three key foundations: Business Development, Internal Marketing, Brand & Reputation. This involved developing a clear Vision, Mission and Values for the organisation and a comprehensive 12 month marketing plan for implementation, looking at through the line activity from events to CRM systems. We are now acting as their marketing department to implement this plan.

The Brief

The eaga Trust was set up 1999 for the purpose of promoting employee well-being, engagement and ownership in the workplace. In late 2017 they launched a programme called Reboot that offers versatile learning and mentoring to help members learn new skills and obtain one-to-one support from a network of mentors in order to improve their career prospects and promote well-being. They required a strategic approach to engaging with the some 600 (and growing) number of people signed up to the Reboot programme in order to maintain motivation and support. The main challenge being that these people are based all over the UK.

Activity

We designed a communications strategy that focused on creating a community for Reboot members using technology as a facilitator. Using the application Slack we have developed a lively community that shares advice & ideas, acts as a sounding board, and provides a vehicle to access mentors. In addition we produce a monthly newsletter that emphasises the successes of members with in-depth interviews and shares ‘pearls of wisdom’ from the mentors. We also organise regular feedback on the programme for the Trust by way of focus groups and member surveys.

The Brief

Amelies is an independent Estate & Lettings Agents in Oxford. They wanted to build brand awareness and increase their reputation as local area experts.

Activity

In the first instant we created the content for a redeveloped website, working with their web development company. We created a focused content approach that emphasised their local expertise and offered new features such as an instant online valuation tool and a fee comparison tool. Once this was in place we created a marketing plan that sought to build a greater audience for Amelies and increase brand awareness within Oxford city. This was a through the line plan and included advertising, social media campaigns, blog posts and a local PR strategy. We are now working with Amelies as their marketing team to deliver this plan.

The Brief

The Business Spa is a unique business support membership group that offers business owners and managers a space away from the day to day running of their business in order to grow, develop and flourish as business people. Running under the guise of ConnectingDoorz since 2016 the brief was to create a new brand that captured the essence of the business model and drove up membership.

Activity

We worked with Cathy, the business owner, to identify the key personality traits of The Business Spa and develop that into a clear Vision, Mission and Values statement. Once we had this we were able to conceptualise the new business name and what it stood for. Working with a partner graphic designer we developed concepts for the new brand and finally settled on the chosen one. The next stage was to create a new website which we did in partnership with a web developer. B Engaging created all the content for the site. We also set up new social media channels and worked with Cathy to create new and engaging content. We have subsequently been working on the launch event and generating local PR for the new venture. Going forward, we will continue to work with Cathy as mentors for The Business Spa and helping her to grow the business with a coordinated, through the line, marketing plan.
